144pp. Sextodecimo [19 cm] Dark reddish brown cloth, with decorative blind stamped designs on the covers. Fair. The underlying boards are exposed along the edges. There are tiny tears in the cloth at the ends of the spine. The front endsheet is split along the hinge, and the rear hinge is broken. The last two pages have small losses from the top right corners, not obscuring the text.
Flake 6699. Translated by Daniel Carn. Voice of Warning in German. Pratt's Voice of Warning was not the first LDS publication to lay out the tenets and theology of the fledgling Mormon Faith, but it was the first to specifically lay out the differences of Mormonism and other Christian Faiths. One of the most important and early volumes of Mormon doctrine.
