400pp. Small octavo [19.5 cm] Orange cloth covered boards with black ink stamped titles on the spine and front cover. Good. The edges of the spine and covers are rubbed, bumped and slightly frayed. There are several tiny closed tears in the cloth of the spine. Minor spine slant. There is a nick in the cloth of the spine. The top edge of the text block is slightly scratched and has numerous small spots of fading. There is a small scuff mark on the bottom edge of the text block. The endsheets are darkened, and the pages are yellowed. There is a contemporary gift inscription on the second flyleaf. Pp. 338-339 have multiple small light stains. The dust jacket is very good condition, with light rubbing and creasing. Mildly yellowed and soiled. The spine is slightly abraded and stained.
