200pp. Sextodecimo [15 cm] Blue cloth covered boards with a gilt stamped title on the front cover. Good. The cloth on the covers is rubbed and slightly rippled. The underlying boards are peeking through at the corners. The front hinge is weak.


Flake 7847. Proceeding the death of Joseph Smith, the Mormons were forced to move West and the Relief Society was disbanded. It wasn't until December 18, 1867, years after the Latter-day Saints had settled in the Salt Lake Valley, that the Relief Society was reformed under the direction of Brigham Young and Eliza was called as the second General Relief Society President of the Church.
