700pp. 3/4 black leather with decorative black paper covered boards and a red leather gilt stamped spine label. All Twelve issues of volume nineteen (January,1908 through December, 1908) bound in one volume. Very good. The edges of the covers are rubbed. The underlying boards are peeking through at the corners. There is a 1/4 inch loss from the leather at the head of the spine. The text block is cracked at the end.
Almost six hundred pages of Mormon history, LDS Church teachings, literature and poetry, travel, LDS Temple workers, Joseph Smith History, testimonies of Church leaders, fashion, manners, women's rights, etc. Illustrated with photographs and artwork. Forty volumes were published of this important LDS women's periodical between 1889-1929, when it was combined with The Improvement Era.
