The covers are gently rubbed, particularly on the spine. There is a small loss from the leather at the head of the spine. The covers have several cosmetic cracks along the joints. The longest crack measures 3 inches. The underlying boards are exposed at the corners. There are very brief contemporary notations on the front flyleaf and the first page of the text. The pages are lightly foxed. The book is sturdy.
Topics include Practical Hints on the Fireside Instruction of Children, New-York Marine Bible Society, Chinese Notions of a Future State, Revivals of Religion, Burman Empire, The Races (Horses) and more.
