Description

376pp. Octavo [23.5 cm] Green cloth covered boards with gilt stamped titles and a gilt stamped elk design on the front cover. Very good. The covers are gently bumped and rubbed. The front cover has one small light stain, and there are five or six small light stains on the rear cover. There is a former owner's blind stamp on the front free endsheet, and again on the title page. The pages are yellowed, however they are very clean. The dust jacket is in very good condition. Lightly rubbed and soiled. The edges are creased and have numerous large chips and short closed tears. There is a thin 1/2 deep open tear in the paper at the head of the spine.

Comments

Dr. Murie's research on elk in the Jackson Hole National Monument forms the basis of this book.
