The covers are rubbed, and the spine is faded. The front cover is hanging on by a thread. The rear joint has been reinforced with simple cloth. There is a 6 inch long stain on the rear cover. The underlying boards are exposed along the edges. The edges of the cloth covers are frayed. There are numerous small losses from the cloth of the spine along the edges. The front endsheet has a an abraded patch where a previous owner's name has been rubbed out, along with a couple of notations in pen. There is a 3 inch closed tear in the paper of the front pastedown. There is a tiny label on the rear pastedown. There are a couple of brief notations on the title page. The text block is cracked a couple of times. The pages are browned. There is a small loss from the bottom corner of p. 445. Item #26744
