564pp. Quarto [29 cm] Olive green cloth covered boards with a gilt stamped title on the spine, and a gilt stamped vignette on the front cover. Fair condition only. The cloth covers are covered with small abraded marks. The edges of the covers are gently bumped. The underlying boards are exposed at the corners. There are small losses from the cloth at the ends of the spine, and the cloth is frayed. The contents have been handwritten on the spine. The hinges are weak. There is a former owner's ink stamp on the front free endsheet. There are small closed tears in the fore edges of the pages at the beginning of the text. The text block is cracked multiple times. The pages are browned. With the two maps in the rear pocket. One of the maps has numerous small closed tears and chips along the edges and folds. There is also a 10 inch long closed tear along one of the folds.
