160pp. Quarto [28.5 cm] Red cloth covered boards with black ink stamped titles on the spine and front cover. Marbled endsheets. Illustrated. Index. Near fine. The spine ends are very gently bumped. The spine is slightly rolled. The dust jacket is in very good condition, with rubbing. There is a price notation on the front inside flap. There is a 1 and 1/2 inch long closed tear in the top edge of the rear panel near the spine. There is a small chip in this edge as well. The edges are mildly bumped.
Beautifully illustrated with over 150 color photographs. Traditional Hopi dolls are carved from Cottonwood, and represent the many spirits of the Hopi religion.
