365pp. Octavo [23.5 cm] Tan cloth covered boards with red ink stamped titles on the spine and front cover. Very good. There is a circular stain on the front cover that measures 2 inches in diameter. The spine ends and edges of the covers are gently bumped and rubbed. The spine is subtly rolled. The edges of the text block are very gently soiled. There is a gift inscription on the front free endsheet. Else, very clean. The dust jacket is in good condition, with rubbing, chipping and creasing. There are multiple small losses from the edges. There are also 5 closed tears in the edges. The longest tear measures just over 1 inch long. The rear panel and inside flap are slightly soiled and stained. There is a thin pen mark on the rear inside flap that measures 3 inches long.
