Description

200pp. Octavo [21 cm] Turquoise cloth covered boards with black ink and gilt stamped titles on the spine and front cover. Illustrated endsheets. Very good. The covers are lightly rubbed. There are multiple small light stains on the covers. There is a large faded patch on the spine that measures 3 inches tall by 1 inch wide at its widest. The spine is gently rolled. There is a small loss from the bottom edge of the rear flyleaf. The pages are mildly browned. The dust jacket is in good condition only. Mildly rubbed, soiled and creased. The edges are chipped. There is a large loss from the paper of the spine that corresponds to the faded patch on the spine. This loss does obscure the title. There are a couple of small dark stains on the rear panel.

Comments

Grace Moon also wrote Lost Indian Magic. Grace Moon's husband, Carl Moon viewed himself as a visual historian contributing to both the scientific and artistic communities. "About the only thing we have thus far overlooked taking from the Indian is his right to perform his religious rites with their accompanying dances in his own way." -Carl Moon
