SIGNED. 357pp. Octavo [20 cm] Red cloth covered boards. There is a gift inscription on the front pastedown, and there is a former owner's ink stamp on the front free endsheet. Very good. The edges of the covers are gently rubbed and faded. The gilt stamped title on the spine has almost been completely rubbed out. The pages are mildly browned. There are short closed tears in the fore edge margins of the pages at the end of the text. The dust jacket is in very good condition as well, with mild rubbing and very subtle fading. The edges are slightly creased and chipped. The jacket is very lightly soiled as well. There is a large 1 and 1/4 inch chip in the top edge of the rear panel, and there are a couple of very short closed tears in the paper at the foot of the spine.
