480pp. Octavo [24 cm] Black cloth covered boards with gilt and blind stamped titles on the spine and front cover. Fair condition only. The covers are gently rubbed and soiled. There are several very small stains on the covers, and there is a very small nick in the cloth of the front board. The cloth at the head of the spine is frayed and has several small splits. There is a 1/4 inch chip in the cloth at the foot of the spine. The underlying boards are exposed occasionally along the edges. The corners are bumped, and there is a small indentation in the top edge of the front board. The hinges are broken, and the text block is starting to come away from the spine and covers.
