Description

237pp. Octavo [20.5 cm] Red cloth covered boards with a black ink stamped title on the spine. Very good. The covers and spine are rubbed and gently bumped. There are multiple small, very light moisture stains on the spine and the top edge of the front cover. There is a small scratch in the cloth of the rear board that measures 3/4 of an inch long. The spine is rolled and mildly faded. The underlying boards are exposed occasionally along the edges, and the edges are slightly frayed. The bottom edge of the text block has a small scuff mark, along with a very tiny stain. A former owner's small label has been mounted to the front free endsheet. The pages are yellowed.

Comments

This is the author's first book. A night of wartime activity at the Willow Run B-24 bomber plant is experienced through the night shifts of six of its workers.
