245pp. Octavo [20.5 cm] Orange cloth covered boards with an orange ink stamped title on the spine, and orange ink stamped designs on the spine and front cover. Good. The covers have mild overall soiling. The spine ends and corners of the covers are bumped. The slightly faded spine is very subtly rolled, and has a small light moisture stain. The bottom edges of the covers are moisture stained. The moisture staining measures 2 inches deep at its deepest. There are also a couple smaller light moisture stains on the covers. The underlying boards are peeking through at the bottom corners. There are multiple very small light moisture stains on the top edge of the text block, and there are several small stains on the other edges of the text block. There is a former owner's name, along with an address, on the front free endsheet. The pages are mildly browned, but very clean.
Grace Moon also wrote Lost Indian Magic. Grace Moon's husband, Carl Moon viewed himself as a visual historian contributing to both the scientific and artistic communities. "About the only thing we have thus far overlooked taking from the Indian is his right to perform his religious rites with their accompanying dances in his own way." -Carl Moon
