Small folio [33 cm] 3/4 black leather with brown cloth covered boards, raised bands, a gilt tooled spine, and gilt ruled borders on the covers. All edges gilt. Marbled endsheets. Good only Ex-library. The spine and covers are heavily rubbed, particularly along the edges. The cloth covers are faded and stained. The cloth on the front board is slightly rippled, and the cloth on the rear board is very rippled, and has come unglued from the underlying board. The cloth is however still adhered to most of the edges of the rear board. The underlying boards are exposed at the corners. There are several cracks in the leather at the ends of the spine along the joints. The longest crack measures 1 inch long. The front pastedown is mildly abraded and has a library label. The hinges are a little weak, however the book is quite sturdy. There is mild soiling on the title page. The are light moisture stains in the edges of the pages at the beginning and here and there very occasionally throughout the text. The largest stain measures 3 and 1/2 inches deep by just under 6 inches wide. The pages are browned.
