Comments

Inscribed by the author on the half title page. From the dust jacket- "Writing from the woman's point of view, the author depicts the neighborliness of settlers rather than gunplay and cattle rustling; she records the friendliness of the Bannock-Shoshone Indians who camped each summer on her uncle's homestead; she emphasizes the pioneer woman's ingenuity in making do with what she had to maintain traditions of the past."
