161pp. Octavo [21 cm] Brown cloth covered boards with a black ink stamped title on the spine. Very good. The spine ends and edges of the covers are lightly bumped and rubbed. The endsheets are subtly discolored, and the pages are mildly browned. In a very good dust jacket. Age-toned. The jacket has general light rubbing, creasing and soiling. There is a 3 and 1/2 inch long horizontal closed tear in the bottom edge. The edges are just a tiny bit chipped, and have several short closed tears.
Tennessee Williams received his first Pulitzer Prize in 1948 for A Streetcar Named Desire, and he was awarded a second Pulitzer Prize in 1955 for Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
