148pp. Octavo [21.5 cm] Light bluish gray cloth with a silver stamped title on the spine. Very good. The spine ends and edges of the covers are lightly bumped and rubbed. The top edge of the text block is very slightly soiled and stained, and there is a small light stain on the bottom edge of the text block. The endsheets are very subtly darkened along the hinges. The dust jacket is in very good condition, with yellowing and light soiling. The edges are gently bumped. There are a couple of small abraded areas on the front panel.
Francis Wentworth Cutler was a prominent suffragette and prolific writer. From the dust jacket- "Written in 1903-1904 when the author was fifteen and sixteen years old, these pages offer a lucid and illuminating glimpse of happy American family life at the turn of the century."
