SIGNED. 438pp. Quarto [25.5 cm] Beige cloth with a black ink stamped title on the spine, and black ink stamped designs on the spine and covers. Very good plus. The spine is subtly rolled. The spine ends and edges of the covers are very lightly soiled and bumped. Internally, clean and bright.

Frank Waters wrote 27 books, including novels, biographies, histories, and essay collections. The majority of his fiction and non-fiction mirrors Waters' wide interest in the culture and religion of Navajo, Hopi, Pueblo, and pre-Columbian peoples. He felt that all his books were immediate failures in the beginning. However, they were constantly reprinted in small printings and translated into foreign languages until finally gaining worldwide recognition. Signed by Frank Waters on the title page.
