307pp. Octavo [21 cm] Green cloth spine with pale blue paper covered boards, and gilt and silver stamped title information on the spine and front cover. Very good with like dust jacket. Browned extremities. The spine is a little rolled. The top edge of the text block is darkened. There is a 1 inch long pen mark on the front free endsheet. Tanned pages. The jacket is mildly age-toned, rubbed and soiled. Some fading to spine of jacket. The edges are lightly creased and chipped. There are a handful of short closed tears in the edges as well. The longest closed tear measures 1/2 inch long. There is a very small light moisture stain on the internal, non-visible side of the jacket. Has not been price clipped.


Rabbit, Run was the book that established John Updike as a major novelist.
