199pp. Octavo [20 cm] Light green cloth covered boards with red and black ink stamped designs and titles on the spine and front cover. Good. The extremities are gently rubbed and bumped. There is a contemporary gift inscription on the front pastedown. The edges of the text block are lightly foxed, and the text block is fragile in a few places at the beginning. The text block is cracked at p. 149. Pages 155-158, and the illustration proceeding these pages, are detached, but present. The pages are browned, and have occasional foxing throughout. In a good only dust jacket. Darkened, rubbed and creased. There are small losses from the edges of the folds, and there are larger losses from the paper at the ends of the spine. The loss at the head of the spine measures 1 and 1/4 inches wide by 1/2 inch deep, and the loss at the loss from the paper at the foot of the spine measures 1 and 1/4 inch wide by about the same measurement deep. The paper along the fold of the rear fold of the spine has several small closed tears. There is a small date stamped in ink on the front inside flap. Price-clipped.
