Hardcover. 237pp. Sixteenmo [16 cm] Brownish orange cloth covered boards with black ink stamped titles on the spine and front cover, a black ink stamped bust of Joseph Smith on the front cover. Good. The underlying boards are just beginning to peek through at the bottom right corner of the front cover. The edges of the text block are ever so slightly scratched and stained. Gently bumped spine ends. Minor spine lean. The front endsheet is glue stained, and has faint contemporary notation, two ink stamps, and a patch of adhered paper. There is a previous owner's ink stamp on the title page. Browned pages. A handful of pages have marginalia or underlining. The dust jacket is in poor condition, with numerous large pieces missing. The largest losses are to the spine and the inside flaps. Mildly rubbed and stained as well. There is a former owner's name stamped in ink on the front panel. Item #33506
