Thin folio [37 cm] Illustrated paper covered boards with an illustrated paper label mounted to the front board, and a blue string tie binding. Good only. The boards are slightly warped, and have large light stains. There are also multiple scribble marks on the front board, as well as an old price-sticker stain on the rear board. The underlying boards are exposed occasionally along the edges. There are tears in the paper along the joints, and there are numerous losses from the paper of the spine. The string tie binding is frayed at the ends. The endsheets are cracked along the hinges, and there is a 1 inch long crack in the rear endsheet along the hinge. There is a gift inscription on the front free endsheet. There is a small smudge stain on the title page.
Eleanor Hazard also illustrated Somebody Spilled the Sky by Ruth Krauss.
