600pp. Octavo [24 cm] Black leather with gilt stamped titles and blind stamped designs on the spine and covers. Decorative endsheets All twelve issues of volume five (October,1893 through September, 1894) bound in one volume. Fair only. The extremities are gently rubbed and scratched. There are losses from the leather at the ends of the spine. The larger loss is from the leather at the foot of the spine, and measures 1 and 1/4 inch wide by just under 1 inch deep. The spine is slightly rolled back. There are multiple small raised areas and thin long creases in the leather of the rear board. The underlying boards are exposed at the corners. Small stain on the top edge of the text block. The text block is cracked at the beginning and a couple of times at the end, and it is starting to separate from the covers. *The first issue in this volume is missing one or possibly more pages, and begins at p. 11. Browned pages. There are very occasional small closed tears in the edges of the pages.
