Oblong folio [29.5 cm x 35 cm] Light green cloth covered boards with gilt stamped titles on the spine and front cover. Very good. The edges of the covers are very slightly sunned, and there is a tiny stain on the bottom edge of the front cover. The hinges are just a little bit shaky. There is a former owner's name on the front pastedown, and the front free endsheet has a vertical crease that runs from the top to the bottom. The page edges are barely perceptibly yellowed. In a good dust jacket, with general mild rubbing. Heavily scratched. There are two small open tears in the paper at the head of the dust jacket's spine, and there are a couple of chips along the edges as well. Creased along the edges. The coating of the dust jacket is peeling away at the edges. There are roughly 5 small stains on the front panel. The largest stain is thin, and measures 2 and 1/4 inches long. The inside flaps are subtly yellowed. May require extra postage due to weight.
93 color, 24 duotone illustrations. Kurt Markus' After Barbed Wire was named one of the Best Books of 1985 by the American Institute of Graphic Arts.
