183pp. Octavo [23.5 cm] Mustard yellow cloth covered boards with a gilt stamped title on the spine. Good. The edges of the spine and covers are very slightly bumped, rubbed and soiled. The text block edges are a bit soiled and stained, and the front endsheet is stained. There are thin stains on the bottom edges of the first three pages, and pp. 36 and 37 have light spots. The dust jacket is in good condition, with general mild soiling and numerous stains. Also lightly age-toned and rubbed. There is a small abraded patch on the front panel. The edges are a little creased and chipped. The largest chip measures 1/4 of an inch wide by 1/4 of an inch deep. There are also a couple of small closed tears in the edges. The longer closed tear is 3/4 of an inch long.
Bill Bailey's text faithfully reproduces his speaking style.
