New York: William Sloane Associates, 1949. First edition. Hardcover. SIGNED. 340pp. Octavo [21.5 cm] 1/4 blue cloth with gray paper covered boards, and a silver stamped title on the spine. Good only. The edges of the covers are rubbed and bumped, and the covers are a little bit warped. The spine is heavily faded. Slight darkening and soiling soiling to the top edge of the text block. There are several small light stains on the top edge of the text block as well. Yellowed pages. The dust jacket is in very good condition. Lightly rubbed, and very age-toned. The spine of the dust jacket is faded. The edges are mildly chipped, and have multiple small closed tears. The longest closed tear measures just under 1/2 of an inch long. There is a tiny open tear in the surface of the jacket's spine, near the head. The rear panel has minor soiling, and there are numerous light indented scratches on the front panel. Item #34243
