211pp. Octavo [21 cm] 1/4 black cloth with light green paper covered boards, and a gilt stamped title on the spine. Very good. Light rubbing and bumping to the spine ends and edges of the covers. Slight spine lean. The front pastedown has a former owner's name and address in pen. The spine is faded and the front panel has large strips of fading along the edges. The dust jacket is also very lightly rubbed and browned. The rear panel has just a trace of soiling. There are a roughly 6 or 7 small closed and open tears in the paper at the edges. The largest open tear measures approximately 1 inch wide by 1/4 inch deep. The longest closed tear is 3/4 of an inch long.
In addition to being a famous author, Zane Grey was also an ardent adventurist, sportsman and world-record-setting fisherman. He is well known among Western fans and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
