472pp. Folio [41.5 cm] 3/4 reddish-brown leather with red cloth covered boards, gilt stamped titles and decorative designs on the spine and covers. All edges gilt. Good. The cloth on the covers is moisture rippled and very subtly damp stained. The majority of the moisture damage is to the rear board. The extremities are rubbed, and there is a 1/2 inch long crack in the front joint at the foot of the spine. The underlying boards are exposed occasionally along the edges. The front pastedown is glue stained, and has large adhered patches of paper. There are several small patches of adhered paper on the fore edge margin of the title page. The pages are tanned, and have very occasional light stains. A few pages have small chips and closed tears in the margins. Sporadic offsetting from the illustrations on the surrounding pages. The book is sturdy. May require extra postage due to weight.
