822pp. Quarto [25.5 cm] 3/4 black leather with marbled paper covered boards, raised bands, a brown leather gilt stamped title label on the spine, and embossed borders on the covers. Good only. The extremities are heavily rubbed, and the underlying boards are exposed occasionally along the edges. The covers are partially detached. The corners of the covers are bumped. There is a bookseller's small ink stamp on the front pastedown, and there is a contemporary owner's name, along with a date, on the front free endsheet. The rear endsheet is cracked along the hinge. A contemporary owner's name has been rubbed out on the title page. The pages are age-toned, but very clean.
