444pp. Octavo [24.5 cm] Red cloth with a gilt stamped title on the backstrip. Very good. The spine ends and corners of the covers are bumped and lightly rubbed. Gift inscription in ink on the front free endsheet. The dust jacket is in good condition. Mildly rippled and a little age-toned. The creased edges have numerous small closed and open tears. The longest closed tear is 1" long. There is a large, but very light stain that is only noticeable on the internal, non-visible side.
