472pp. Duodecimo [19 cm] Green cloth covered boards with a gilt stamped title on the spine. Brown endpapers. Fair only. The extremities are heavily rubbed and gently bumped. The rear board is damp stained. The spine is subtly rolled. The cloth at the spine ends is slightly frayed, and the underlying boards are exposed at the bottom fore edge corners. Front hinge cracked. The text block has almost completely come away from the covers, and it is cracked multiple times. Previous owner's notation in pencil on the verso of the frontispiece.
