165pp. Quarto [30.5 cm] Red cloth covered boards with the title and artist stamped in gilt and black ink on the spine. Very good. The bottom edges of the spine and covers have thin strips of sun fading. The address for the Tahir Gallery has been written in pen on the title page. A sheet of Recent Woodcuts by Jacques Hnizdovsky is mounted to the verso of the front free endsheet, and an "In Memoriam" pamphlet for Jacques Hnizdovsky has been taped to the verso of the contents page. There is a previous owner's small address label on the half title page. The dust jacket is in very good condition. Mildly age-toned. Additionally darkened at the spine and along the folds. The edges are just a little creased and chipped, and there are two small closed tears in the top edge. The longer closed tear is 3/4" long.
A catalogue raisonne which reproduces all 219 woodcuts and linocuts printed by the artist since 1944.
