Hardcover. 302pp. Large octavo [23.5 cm] Blue cloth covered boards with gilt stamped titles and decorative gilt and orange ink stamped tipi and wagon trail vignettes on the spine and front cover. Top edge gilt. The other edges are untrimmed. Very good. The extremities are mildly rubbed and bumped. There are a couple of stains at the head of the spine. The underlying boards are just beginning to peek through at the corners. Gift inscription on the front flyleaf. The wrinkled tissue guard at the frontispiece page is partially detached, and the illustration at p. 67 is just beginning to detach. The pages are mildly yellowed. Item #36165
