401pp. Octavo [21.5 cm] Black cloth covered boards with gilt stamped titles in red ink stamped panels, and bordered with gilt, on the backstrip and front cover. Publisher's red top stain. Very good. The spine is slightly rolled. The front pastedown has a previous owner's name and address. With a dust jacket in very good condition. Subtly yellowed, creased and rubbed. There are several small closed and open tears in the edges. The spine of the jacket is sunned.
