Publisher's advertisements at the rear. Fair condition only. The spine and covers are stained and rubbed, and the spine is heavily rolled and darkened. The text block edges are lightly foxed. There is a small loss from the fore edge of the front pastedown. The top edge of the rear endsheet is damp stained. There is a large pencil drawing on the verso of the rear flyleaf. The pages are age-toned. From the collection of Berkeley book collector and letter press printer, John Ruyle, with his bookplate on the front pastedown. BAL 18874.
