Description

141pp. Square octavo [22 cm] White cloth covered boards with a gilt stamped title on the spine, and a red, blue, gold and silver stamped emblem on the front cover. Top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed. Very good. The spine is browned and the covers are a little age-toned. The spine ends and corners of the covers are bumped. The endsheets are heavily darkened and foxed. The surrounding pages are lightly foxed.

St. Andrews is famous for being the "home of golf." References to the game are made on pp. 8,30, and 60. Almost all the pieces in this volume are the productions of St. Andrews Undergraduates.
