1088pp. Thick octavo [24 cm] Bluish gray cloth covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine and front cover. Very good. The bottom fore edge corner of the text block is just a trifle soiled. The dust jacket is in very good condition as well, with yellowing. Abraded along the edges and folds. The edges are mildly chipped.
The Library of Living Philosophers Volume XI. During the 1920's Carnap was one of the leaders of the famous Vienna Circle, where, with Wittgenstein and Schlick, he was one of the founders of the movement which they referred to as Logical Positivism, or Logical Empiricism.
