386pp. Duodecimo [19 cm] Orange cloth covered boards with black ink stamped lettering on the spine and front cover. Good. The extremities are mildly rubbed and soiled, and the spine is heavily faded. A closed tear in the cloth at the head of the spine has been glued, and the cloth at the foot of the spine is a little frayed. There are several stains on the fore edge of the text block. The largest stain measures roughly 3/4" in diameter. With a previous owner's bookplate, designed by Hannes Bok, on the front pastedown. There is a contemporary gift inscription on the front free endsheet. Browned pages. Bleiler CFL. Locke. "333." Reginald 03688.


Ray Cummings also wrote "The Girl in the Golden Atom." He wrote over 600 stories under various names, and was an active writer during the heyday of the pulp magazine era.
