Description

303pp. Octavo [19.5 cm] 1/4 light green cloth with tan and black illustrated paper covered boards. Good. The extremities are mildly rubbed, and there are several small splits in the cloth at the ends of the spine. The underlying boards are exposed briefly along the edges. There are several cracks in the front endsheet along the hinge, and the text block is just barely starting to pull away from the spine. There is sporadic light foxing on the pages. From the collection of Berkeley book collector and letter press printer, John Ruyle.

Comments

George Ade is one of the American writers whose books earned him quite a bit of money. Ade's writings are full of comedic characters taken from the streets and front porches of small Midwestern towns.
