SIGNED. 492pp. Duodecimo [19 cm] Brown cloth covered boards with red ink stamped titles and red, black and gilt stamped coin designs on the spine and front cover. With six duotone plates. Good. The edges of the spine and covers are rubbed and bumped, and the spine is rolled. The front endsheet is cracked along the hinge, and the rear endsheet has a couple of small cracks along the hinge. Both hinges are going. There is a gift inscription on the top edge of the front free endsheet. There are very occasional small stains on the pages.
With illustrations by C. M. Relyea. A novel of San Francisco. Inscribed by the author, in the year issued, on the front free endsheet. Geraldine Bonner also wrote short stories which were published in Collier's Weekly, Harper's Weekly, Harper's Monthly, and Lippincott's.
