185pp. Oblong quarto [21.5 cm x 31 cm] 1/4 dark red cloth with natural thickly woven cloth covered boards. Light brown endpapers. With the Errata slip tucked in. Near fine condition. The price-clipped dust jacket is in very good condition, with subtle age-toning and rubbing, along with minor traces of soiling. There are several small chips in the edges.


With an Introduction by Dean Krakel, Managing Director of National Cowboy Hall of Fame. From an edition limited to 5,000 copies. Fred Harman first became known through his comic strip "Red Ryder and Little Beaver," which was popular in newspapers, and later on the radio in the West in the thirties, forties and fifties.
