185pp. Oblong quarto [21.5 cm x 30 cm] Light orange paper covered boards. Good only. There is a small loss from the top edge of the front cover near the spine, and this area is jammed. The edges of the spine and covers are lightly bumped, rubbed and soiled. The price-clipped dust jacket is in good condition, with general mild soiling, and large areas of age-toning. There are two long closed tears in the edges, and there are a couple small open tears in the top edge, near the head of the jacket's spine. There is a thin open tear in the surface of the jacket's spine.

With an Introduction by Dean Krakel, Managing Director of National Cowboy Hall of Fame. Fred Harman first became known through his comic strip "Red Ryder and Little Beaver," which was popular in newspapers, and later on the radio in the West in the thirties, forties and fifties.
