Also has smaller illustrations in the text. Good only. The covers and spine are gently rubbed at the edges, and the rear cover is moisture stained. The spine is rolled, and the hinges are weak. The frontispiece has been reinserted. There are tide marks in the top margins of roughly half of the pages. The largest damp stains measure 4" wide by 3/4" deep. The threads are visible in the inside margins of a couple of the pages at the beginning. This title is listed in "American Lost-Race Fiction: The Stuart Teitler Collection," a catalog produced in 2008 by Serendipity Books of Berkeley, California. Smith I-10.
