1174pp. Duodecimo [19 cm] Magenta cloth covered boards. Publisher's red top stain. Very good. The extremities are gently bumped. The pages are tanned, and the bottom edges of the pages at the beginning are subtly rippled. With the pictorial dust jacket, with publisher's advertisements printed on the rear panel (three books by A. Conan Doyle) and inside flaps. The jacket is in good condition, with a general layer of light soiling, and numerous small losses from the slightly creased edges. Several of the tears have been backed with tape.
