349pp. Octavo [19 cm] Olive green cloth covered boards with gilt stamped titles, and a decorative maritime vignette stamped in gray, orange and black on the front cover. Good plus. The spine is heavily sunned, and the edges of the spine and covers are a bit dinged. The endsheets are cracked along the hinges, and the front free endsheet has a bookseller's ink stamp, and a contemporary owner's notation. The threads are very occasionally visible in the inside margins of the pages. Pp. 101-106 have a bit of staining. From the collection of Berkeley book collector and letter press printer, John Ruyle, with his bookplate and notes in pencil on the front endsheet. Listed in "American Lost-Race Fiction: The Stuart Teitler Collection," a catalog produced in 2008 by Serendipity Books of Berkeley, California. Bleiler CFL.
