224pp. Duodecimo [19 cm] Black cloth-effect paper over boards with pale blue ink stamping on the spine. Very good. Light bumping and rubbing to the extremities. The covers are a little warped, and the top edge of the text block is subtly damp stained. With the dust jacket in good condition only. Age-toned, and lightly rubbed and foxed. There are a number of small closed and open edge tears, and there are two long pieces of tape backing the tears. From the collection of Berkeley book collector and letter press printer, John Ruyle, with his notations in pencil on the front free endsheet. Cited in Locke, Spectrum of Fantasy. In Tuck.
Also published as "The Curve of the Snowflake" by Norton in 1956. A novel of time-space travel written by a British neurophysiologist and robotician.
