188pp. Octavo [22 cm] Pale blue cloth effect paper over boards with a black ink stamped title on the spine. Frontispiece photograph of the author in his study. Very good. The extremities are gently bumped. The front pastedown has a couple of ink stamps and a pen mark, and the text block is cracked at the beginning. The dust jacket is in very good condition, with subtle age-toning and rubbing. The edges are a bit chipped, and there is a general layer of mild soiling on the rear panel. Price-clipped

From the dust jacket- "The sightings of Space Ships have increased in number since the Atom Bombs have been exploded; and he believes that those who pilot the Space craft are now surveying the Earth preparatory to landing on our planet. We have nothing to fear from them- had they been hostile they could have attacked us long ago. Instead, they have come to save us from ourselves- so we should welcome them as friends- perhaps from Venus, perhaps from Mars, or even the planets of another star!"
