313pp. Octavo [20.5 cm] Orange cloth over boards with black lettering on the spine and front cover, and black ruled borders on the front cover. Top edge trimmed; other edges untrimmed. Very good condition. The spine ends and corners of the covers are gently bumped, and there are under a dozen barely perceptible small stains on the covers. The pages are tanned. The price-clipped dust jacket is in good condition. Chipped, with losses. The largest loss is from the surface of the front panel, and measures roughly 1 and 1/2" tall by 3/4" wide. The loss only obscures a minor amount of the title, and none of the illustration. Also mildly age-toned, rubbed and soiled. From the collection of Berkeley book collector and letter press printer, John Ruyle, with his notes in pencil on the front free endsheet. Bleiler CFL.

Supernatural stories.
